About us
Returning Power to the People
Every special interest has a lobbyist in the Knesset. As of today, so do you.
Al HaMashmaut, founded by Tamir Dortal, is an independent media channel with more than 700 episodes and over 4 million views per month. Koach Hitarvut was established as the channel's parliamentary advocacy arm. This model has never existed before, in Israel or anywhere in the world: a public advocacy body operating hand in hand with a media outlet. What is said in the Knesset is heard by the public, and vice versa. One organization and one message, advancing the same goals through two channels at once: media and advocacy.
The network was launched in September 2026 at Shilo Winery, in the presence of government ministers, Members of Knesset, journalists, heads of civil society organizations and hundreds of guests.
This fight is funded by the public alone. No government budget, no foreign foundation. There is you. Today, some 200 regular supporters stand with us, contributing modest amounts to our activity. However, we are still far from covering the basic operating costs of the initiative.

Every day, behind the doors of Knesset committees, decisions are made that shape our lives. The room is filled with representatives of left-wing organizations, paid experts and professional lobbyists. They arrive prepared, with all the relevant knowledge, data and connections, all funded by vested interests, left-wing foundations and foreign governments. Opposite them, the national public, which is the majority in Israel, is barely present. The field is empty, and the players on the other side are shooting at an undefended goal, and scoring. Our colleagues, the Members of Knesset from the national camp, know this well. They tell us explicitly: We need you. We need professional backing, research and a presence in the room. And now, decades overdue, the first National Zionist public advocacy network in Israel has been established: Koach Hitarvut. Our goal is clear: Those who voted for the Right will get the Right.

Founder and host of the podcast Al HaMashmaut ("On Meaning") – a philosophical-political channel with more than 700 episodes that grew from a zero budget into one of the most influential media outlets on the Israeli right. An incorrigible capitalist, and proof that you can build an institution without waiting for anyone's permission.
Adv. Odelia Kedmi
Head of Personal Security
Lawyer, social activist and member of the Zichron Yaakov local council. A fighter, past and present. She led the campaign for women's right to defend themselves and won: after a year and a half of work in the National Security Committee, firearms-licence criteria were extended to those who served in roles of a combat nature.
Tal Kopel
Head of Education and Ethics
Publicist, educator and social activist. Writes for Mida and Makor Rishon, lectures at pre-military academies, and runs the blog "Thus Spoke Kopel". Believes that downstream of culture and philosophy lies the sacred moment of legislation, and that abstract values must become concrete through the legislature.
Noga Arbell
Head of Legislation
Researcher of geostrategy, foreign policy and public policy. One of the leading voices against UNRWA and for popular sovereignty. She exposed that Knesset members have no legislative permissions in the Knesset's own computerised system, and leads the campaign to restore them. Helped draft the Jewish Identity Law.
Dr. Amir Rubin
Head of Medicine
Senior orthopaedic surgeon, head of orthopaedics at the Terem network and formerly chief orthopaedist of Maccabi Healthcare. A pain doctor who read the basic research they don't teach in medical school, and has fought ever since to bring scientific evidence into a system that spends 100 billion shekels a year, only 0.4% of it on prevention.
